
Saw this fella on the grassy bank overlooking South Fistral about to take off, just as I was on my way down to the sand to get some pictures of a kite.
The wind was about 10-14knots and he was really cranking some fast turns on that thing. It was especially interesting to see how he was using the lift from the wind as it was blowing upwards against the dunes at that end of the beach.
Well it looks like the next few days won’t be yeilding too much in the way of wind, but Tuesday onwards is looking good so I feel a nice downwinder is in order.
