It’s been two years since I was last in Tarifa, and though you hear a lot about the place all the time, what I think is under-reported is how stunning the place is. The water is clear blue, mountains all around, Africa in the distance, Nacional Parcs full of trees and horses…it’s proper ranch land. Then you’ve got the old town with all its labarynthine streets and fun little bars and clubs; there’s a real latin buzz in town in the evenings. Such a great antidote to the loutish UK behaviour which is getting a little bit tiresome already this summer….

We’re back in Cornwall now, ready for what I hope will be a stellar photoshoot with some high profile international riders. I’ll report here as to how that’s progressing in the next few days.
